My Morning Jacket's New Album = New Tour
"After experimenting with a variety of genres on Evil Urges, including prog rock and funk, MMJ are returning to the reverb-drenched Southern rock sound that launched their career...one song on the new album is "Wonderful," which 'we actually recorded a couple different versions of for Evil Urges, but it never worked out. [The] new songs feel distinctly different from one another.' MMJ are expected to finish their album soon, then prepare to bring their legendary live performances to cities across America."
So far MMJ will be headlining both The Hangout Music Fest in Alabama and Mountain Jam in New York.
