N'awlins Jazz Fest

I had the pleasure of taking my first trip to New Orleans the other week and it is every bit of the amazing city it's been known to be.  Enriched with history, music, southern food and quaint streets, it's where jazz was invented and is home to the NO Jazz Fest.  It was heart-wrenching driving through the entire city and seeing first hand the amount of damage Katrina caused and the fact that there is so much re-building to be done.  Brad Pitt has been building homes & rumor has it they can float.

I have NEVER seen a festival schedule quite like this.  There's no way I'm missing it.  Two weekends jam packed with some of the best musicians around today and a week in between featuring the local jazz bands, mark it on your calendars.  April 23rd-May 2nd.
